Kinda suck, but you know, if you’re in a cupcake emergency (and I completely understand this), they’d do in a pinch. The texture of the cake is very strange, and rather like a dense make-up sponge. At least they weren’t dry, which is the death-knell of a cupcake. The icing was pretty good, if sparse, and the “chocolate” decorations were foul and upsetting. Coworker Karen tried the vanilla cupcake and liked it fine.
