Nothing replaces cocoa unless you want to melt baking chocolate with butter. Cocoa mix has too many additives in it and isn't pure cocoa.

yea…..taste the same..I did that once before too….

Baking cocoa is 100% pure unsweetened cocoa wheres hot cocoa powder has sugar, milk solids and other thing added to it. The cookies will not turn out the same, but you can try it.

no

I don’t see what it will hurt, it might not taste as strong as the cocoa.

cocoa is ground cocoa beans.,hot cocoa mix has emmulsifiers and sugar added, you would be better off using
chopped or grated cooking chocolate, semi-sweet or bittersweet.

i did one time and it tasted good in a cookie reciepe- just remember that hot cocoa mix has solt in it- so make sure you done add any addtl salt to the cookie recipe.
