great info, as always! thank you!
you are a doll….
Theobromine, found in cacao, is a psychoactive stimulant. It is a drug just like caffeine. Additionally “raw cacao” sold in health food stores truly is not raw as it went to a dehydration process for preservation. It is definitely not a living food.
cacao/chocolate is not something to be eating on a daily basis, but as a treat. anyone trying to use as a “superfood” every day, or in the smoothies is misled. thanks for the vid!
@bishonenchan green tea has caffeine in it
It would be nice if you could tell us in a more detailed way how you got rid of habits like drinking a coffee/having a warm beverage… and thanks for your videos, always very helpful!! And yes, it’s always useful to repeat that everything should be done in moderation!!
green tea is healthy
btw there is no limit on video time for you anymore.
oh, i thought you moved to thailand to live?
So raw food doesn’t heal addictive personalities? Too bad. ;-)
did you get a negative reaction to the fruit as well?
right on good vid
no heart issues, but I did have rashes on my legs. Definitely toxic!
wow, could you believe there is a smarties ad beside your video it says “the journey is long. eat well.” incredible
ps good tip on the cacao to quit smoking
natasha you’re hot
thankyou , this is one of the most informative raw chocolate videos and sources.
superfood lol. Super stimulating more like it. Buzzed me out for a week and theni crashed hard on it
p.s. raw chocolate, gave me SERIOUS headaches. Everyone has their choice, but I say find other sources for energy like raw coconut oil. From what I have researched on coconut oill and heard from you, raw coconut oil gives you ENERGY, electrolytes, and helps immune system, and no caffeine. 1 tablespoon is great for me in smoothie, or even on it’s own!
I get all those symptoms when I eat cacao beans also…..and I never ate raw chocolate, just the nibs plain. Just a spoonful will give me headache, heart pains, insomnia, irritability, and acne…….and not one good high feeling at all. I am certain I could get sick eating that stuff. Coffee never did that to me though.
I agree with everything you are saying, but still good to hear it isn’t just me. I think all in moderation, but I can say from my experience that I found it did not make me feel good if you have more than a teeny amount, and i don’t have any known food allergies, I had the same experience with the heart. I’ve been doing raw since May and you have been helpful SO MUCH, you don’t even know. SAY NO to stimulants, I prefer raw honey or raw coconut oil (artisana, thanks to you). THANK YOU TRULY! :)
Thanks Natashaaaa :)
cacao and cocoa are not the same thing.
Cacao nibs are bitter by themselves. I do not like stimulants either I get the same symptoms as Natasha minus the acne.
When I was first trying the raw thing, Cacao Nibs were one of the 1st things I bought since I’m such a chocoholic. Looking back, I was having serious heart palpitations, anxiety and panic attacks out of no where which I think were caused by the stimulant effects of the nibs! I was a mess. Once I stopped eating them I got a lot better. It was scary!
@BumblebeeKisses4 it rhymes with “brown cow”
I have an addictive personality, and used to be a heavy coffee drinker (among a lot of other things). But I don’t seem to have any addictive issues with raw chocolate. In fact, chocolate hasn’t attracted me much since I’ve gone raw. And I used to love chocolate.
Also, it will give me a headache if I overdo it.
