I actually did a study on natural hair vs straight hair , and most of the girls I interviewed said, that they prefer straight over anything else! When they came up with reasons as to why, the girls said; it was ” Easier to manage” or ” Less of a burden”
But I think, its actually really hard to keep up with the perms, touch ups, weaves and wigs! ( not to mention the hundreds of dollars we spent buying hair products!!) and that, Id rather have my natural, than anything else!! :)
this song really talks about what real is about….beyond the chocolate reference, love is impacted by the way that a person vibes with another…and ultimately, that feeling is better than any type of high that anything could ever give ya

I love that this video shows a natural beauty like india and how beautiful she can look reveling in her natural state. There are a million videos out there showing a relaxed and whitewomen doing their little beauty regimen coming out of bed, but thisis more how I look when i get out of bed, with little or big two strand twist and then we unleash nature, it is so beautiful and refreshing to see. Black men need to embrace and appreciate this weave & chemical free beauty that sistas posess.

@sweetleelover10 Your so right! I’m white and I think black women are soo damn beautiful! They exude beauty and strength! I have freckled white skin and a red afro and I tried to change myself but then all my black friends told me I’m beautiful and not to change what God gave us! WE are all beautiful and it’s dumb to try to damage ourselves just to look like somebody else.
