How can I make thick chocolate sauce using cocoa powder, to coat mt chocolate truffles?
I watched a tutorial, that shows you how to make chocolate truffles. The ingredients are good and very delicious except for the last ingredient. I don't like the truffles coated in cocoa powder! I want to substitute the cocoa powder with a thick and creamy chocolate sauce, does anyone know what I can do?

Melt chocolate chips and dip the truffles in that. Or use Hershey kisses and melt them.

if you whisk in a little cornstarch it will thicken it up.

Go to Starbucks and buy there cocoa mix(yes, they do sell it). Mix some with warm water and it makes for a really good chocolate sauce.

Melt about 6 to 8 oz. milk chocolate with 1 tablespoon shortening. Insert toothpicks into the truffles and dip into the melted chocolate.

Truffles can also be rolled in coconut or powdered sugar. Both taste pretty good.

Ingredients:

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation:

In a small saucepan over low heat, heat chocolate chips and whipping cream, stirring constantly. Continue to cook, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted and sauce is smooth. Stir in vanilla.
Serve over dessert or ice cream.
Makes about 1 1/4 cups.

i like to take a dove chocalte bar and melt it with a lil milk but the more chocolate you use the thicker the chocolate will melt. so go by what you see when you melt the chocolate when you add milk.
