Reema Singh is the spunky owner of Cocoa Locale, a funky Mile-End bakery that specializes in home-made, old-fashioned cakes. Singh makes every single one of them and lovingly decorates them with flowers to add a personal touch. She's a one-woman show. She's a young entrepreneur who's carved a niche for her scrumptious deserts that inevitably leave people with cravings and knocking on her door for more.

her cakes are the best i’ve ever had! i’ve moved away from montreal since but i hope this place still exists!
I absolutely LOVE Reema’s cakes & cupcakes. For the best variety, make sure to get there as close to opening as possible. My fave is the spicy chocolate cake, great quality chocolate with a subtle bite. No wonder I’m so darn fat!
Mothers aren’t the only bakers. My mom doesn’t like to be in the kitchen. My dad is the one who knows how to cook. I wish more people could acknowledge that fact, especially nowadays. I understand that they are preserving that old-time nostalgia, but still…
Anyway, this is a nice video. I would love to try out the sweets. The proprietor is really cute :).
