Well, this is a first.
Cocoa has never laid down in the water before today. My guess is she didn't realize what she was doing until it was too late. These days, getting up from the ground is very difficult for her so she probably decided it wasn't worth the effort.
This photo is actually a composite of two images. I was shooting from the hip and the in-camera framing was too tight above her head. So, the greenery behind her is from a different image.
