Christophe Artisan Chocolatier-Pâtissier Launches New Ecommerce Site in Time for the Holidays

Christophe Artisan Chocolatier-Pâtissier is proud to announce the launch of its new ecommerce website, allowing customers nationwide to purchase hand-painted chocolates, luscious truffles, chocolate sculptures, and corporate logo chocolates just in time for the holidays.
With the launch of the new christophechocolatier.com site, customers will be able to purchase holiday gifts such as chocolate gift boxes, corporate gifts, and holiday sculptures. “Building an ecommerce site was the next logical step for us,” says co-owner Carly Paume. “We have so many people from out of town ask how they can purchase our chocolates once they get home.”
Carly’s husband, Christophe Paume, is the rarest of artisans, a third-generation French chocolatier, who grew up in his father’s pâtisserie in Toulouse, France. Alongside his father, he learned to create exquisite French pastry, the highest quality chocolates, succulent gelato, and every type of bread imaginable.
While it was his passion for fine chocolate that brought him to the United States, it was love that kept him here. In 2009, he married Carly, a sales rep for the same chocolate company he worked for, and they formed Christophe Artisan Chocolatier-Pâtissier.
In May of 2009, they opened their first shop in Charleston, South Carolina, followed by another shop in the heart of Charleston’s King Street shopping district.
All of the chocolates are handmade by Christophe using the freshest ingredients, and all of their chocolates are preservative-free and most are gluten-free. With distinctive flavors from star anise to caramel pecan and inspired chocolate gifts from corporate logos to party favors, their premium chocolates blend rich European tradition with master artisanship.
“We’ve grown quickly, and this new site will meet the rising demand for Christophe’s edible art,” says Carly. “Our chocolates make great personal or corporate gifts, and our sculptures are a unique centerpiece or hostess gift. Christophe’s chocolates aren’t your run-of the-mill chocolates. They truly are works of art.”
