1 square = 1 oz. chocolate
So 6 oz. choc chips = 6 squares (which is half of a normal-sized 12 oz. bag.)
6 squares = 6 oz bakers chocolate
I just say that one hand full of chocolate chips are roughly equal to 1 oz.therefore 6 handfuls are equal to 6 oz not a disaster if you are over or under a bit..
It makes no difference how many. In baking, everything is formulary, or an exact ratio, usually by weight. Most baking chocolate is sold in one ounce squares. Measure one ounce of chocolate chips out in a measuring cup and you will have the same outcome.
You’ll need 1 cup of chocolate chips.
Send some of those treats this way, please.
