Can I use chocolate chips to make chocolate bark?

Will the chocolate harden up again or do I have to use those chocolate baking square things? I want to cover some homemade brittle with chocolate and I don’t want it to be messy when I give it as a gift.

what is chocolte bark

*****Yes you can use chocolate chips instead of Bark, do not use the little baker’s chocolate squares.
You can either pour the chips on the hot Brittle and spread them around or melt them in the microwave 45 Sec Stir and Repeat until thoroughly melted. then spread on your Cool Brittle, but this may not stick well to cooled Brittle, as it cools it will harden back up.
